# Marketplace

The in-game Marketplace lets you buy gear, tools, and critters that other players have listed, without leaving the game. Find it at the market stalls in town or by talking to **Bruno**, the market bear.

### Buying

* Browse listings for equipment (Hat, Weapon, Shield, Amulet, Boots, Book), tools, and critters.
* Filter by gear slot and by currency, and sort to find what you need.
* A **1% buyer fee** is added on top of the listed price at checkout.
* Purchases are paid in $QUEST.

### Tips

* Check an item's rolled stats, durability, and sockets before buying; a cheaper item with better rolls is often the smarter pick.
* Critters listed for sale include whatever gear is equipped on them, so read the full loadout.
